Our Rooms

Our individually-designed coastal-inspired bedrooms make for the perfect place to stay in Mumbles. Each of our bedrooms will bag you an enviable view with half overlook the super-stunning Swansea Bay, while the other half overlook our much-loved village.

Bringing the whole family? Great – we’d love to have you all over to stay. We’ve got dedicated family-friendly and dog-friendly bedrooms, and we’ll treat everyone like VIP’s. Kiddies will get one of our special Borrow Boxes (call it our treasure trove of entertaining goodies), and your furry friends will have a Happy Dog Hamper waiting for them.

Our prime spot on the Gower Peninsula’s coastline means you’ll wake up to fresh sea air every morning, you’ll be just steps from the beach, there are plenty of walks nearby, and of course, you’ll be perfectly placed to enjoy our quaint hometown. And a visit simply isn’t complete without a trip to our friends at Joe’s Ice Cream Parlour (we recommend the Strawberry sundae)!

Guests with four paws are most welcome around here.

Up to two pups can stay with you (in one of our dog-friendly bedrooms) for an additional £20 per night. The best bit? We’ll give your pup a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Little Borrowers

Because we know just how important it is to keep little ones entertained, we’ve created our very own in-room Borrow Boxes – treasure troves of fun and inspirational goodies to keep kiddie boredom at bay.

We’ll pop one into your room when you add a child on to your booking, and when you’re ready to set off on your merry way, simply pack it back up and we’ll look after it until the next little borrower arrives.

Staying over?

What time is breakfast?

Join us for breakfast (hearty or healthy) between 9-11am every day.

If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our lovely pub to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back. Check-out is by 11am.

How long should I stay in Mumbles?

We think the longer the better! However, a couple of nights should give you plenty of time to soak up the sea breeze and allow yourself the nautical reset you’re after.

If you are looking to stay longer, we would suggest having a look at some local walking routes, especially as we’re on the ever-so-famous-Gower Gateway.

Getting here

Do you have parking?

We don’t have any on-site parking (we’re a little too central for that), however, there is a handy parking area just a few steps away from us.

Can I get to you via Public Transport?

Yes, you absolutely can. If heading from far afield, you can get the train to Swansea station and then either take a taxi or a local bus to Mumbles.

Mumbles is a rather quaint town, so we’re easy to get here by bus.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already and forgot? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
